Creating Digital Products for Passive Income

In 2013 I was nearly $50,000 in debt, struggling as a designer, and drinking too much. Then I discovered my wife and I were expecting a little girl (our first child). I was broke, anxious, and scared. I committed to changing my life. I started waking up every morning at 5:00 am and working on digital products for other designers (i.e. textures, brushes, actions, templates) and started selling them on Creative Market (www.creativemarket.com (link sends e-mail)). I combined my graphic design skills with my online marketing background. Within 2 months I had made $15,000. Within a year I had made $120,000. By the time my daughter was born I was out of debt. My life had transformed. I wasn't drinking, I wasn't worried about money (so I could focus on my daughter). My success was a mix of consistent effort and combining marketing with design (and of course luck - which I believe plays a big role in every part of life). Today, I run RetroSupply Co. (www.retrosupply.co (link sends e-mail)) from home. I love my work. I love that I get to see my girls grow up. I'd love to share the highest leverage ideas I discovered that helped me succeed in making an income selling products online.
